QUAX Technik GmbH

In 2013 we founded the QUAX Technik GmbH, a limited liabilty company that is in charge of our maintenance and employs our former club mechanics, A&Ps and IAs. The ever more demanding tasks at hand during the daily maintenance as well as the restoration projects made that step necessary and enabled us to also offer our services to non members. The QUAX Technik is wholly owned be the club and that will stay that way forever.

Right from the start we were taking part in the 3 year training program provided by the chamber of commerce to train our own certified aircraft mechanics. We also provide insight into our daily operation for interested young guys and girls that are looking for some orientation for their professional future.

The QUAX HANGAR provides both, out maintenance homebase and our offices at the Paderborn-Lippstadt regional airport. As we are a frequent user of Flugplatz Bienenfarm (EDOI) we are expanding in this direction with more and more tasks at hand there. We are a proud employer of a total of 8 employees, two of which are apprentices. They all share our passion for the historic airplanes.

Die Quax Technik GmbH verfügt am Flughafen Paderborn und am Flugplatz Bienenfarm jeweils über große, beheizte Werfthangars mit ausgezeichneter Ausstattung und darüber hinaus sind wir regelmäßig auch "ambulant" an weiteren Flugplätzen tätig, wo unsere Hilfe gewünscht wird. Selbst wenn der Landeplatz mal durch eine unplanmäßige Außenlandung ersetzt wird, helfen wir gern und lassen Dich und Dein Schätzchen nicht im Regen stehen.
