THE CLUB
MEMBERSHIP
Our club counts around 700 members now and we are continously accepting new members. While the majority are supporters who take part in our club life, their reasonable monthly fee contributes to a large extend to our financial base. Added to the donations and sponsoring and of course the fees of the active members the club has the means to acquire rare planes when they come up for sale, finance their operation and thus keep them in the sky, where we feel they belong. Part of our mission is to ensure a wide range of enthusiasts who might otherwise not be able to afford flying an historic aircraft to fulfill their dream. I you want more than just support our mission, you can be part of the club as an active pilot, a gliderpilot, a young eagle if you are growing up, or a QUAX KID if you are still too young for the rest. We are pround to offer that chance to anybody and would love to welcome you in our community.Just send us a mail, call us or meet us in person at one of our events.
QUAX Bases
Historic aviation is not limited to a single location, is it? We are spread out all over Germany and where ever there is enough members, active or supporters, we are more than happy to found a new QUAX base. If the people get together and come up with a plan, find a nearby airfield that is suitable with a hangar space available we will not hesitate and put on of our beauties there for the flying season.
Young Eagles
Interested in old planes but still young? You don’t have to be watching from behind the fence. The Youth is our future and it is part of our mission to support our Kids growing up on their way into the cockpit of an historic plane. It goes without saying that we have a selection process in place to find the most suitable candidates but we are not asking for anything that could not be done. We want young people to enjoy the magic of flying a biplane 3 or 4 times their own age around the beautiful German landscape and beyond.
QUAX KIDS
Family or airfield? Don’t we know that question and the problems that might follow? QUAX tries to combine both. Most of us are working, some are working moms, and it is hard to find the time for family, friends and all the stuff that might be on one’s daily or weekly agenda. Well, we’ve been working on that over tyhe years and we have found a good way to get it all in sync. One of the paths we choose is to engage our smallest familiy members , the QUAX KIDS, in our club life. The kids are really enthusiastic about being part of the ever growing QUAX family and they are engaging in our hangar life helping us where they can. Kids are always welcome and are having a great time be it on the ground or in the air.
QUAX SHOP
Hats, Hoodies, Cups, Calendars, patches and more or for sale in our QUAX SHOP. Merchandising is one of our means to increase our public footprint and all of our articles are available to anybody interested, not only members. Want to shop?? Please call our office or send them a mail.
